Camphor Laurel Chopping Boards
These boards are made from locally sourced Camphor Laurel, air-dried for a minimum of one year to achieve the ideal moisture level without kiln drying.
Each board is cut from a single slab, ensuring maximum strength and durability with no joins that could split.
Camphor Laurel’s natural oils provide strong antibacterial properties, making the boards suitable for all types of food preparation. The timber’s natural colour variations, grain patterns, and pleasant aroma mean each piece is unique.
As Camphor Laurel is considered a weed in our region, using it helps support native forest regeneration.
